As the proud owner of three mini schnauzers --- Taz, Boo, and Sweetie ---we were extremely interested in the health and wellness of our pets. Yet, we were continually confronted with health issues, vet bills, hyperactivity, bad breath, teeth cleaning and various other concerns.  We thought this was normal. Then, our beloved Sweetie acquired a fatal autoimmune disorder. It happened so quickly.  One day, she was seemingly healthy and then, in the blink of an eye, she was very sick!  We did everything we could to save her, including blood transfusions. It didn’t work, so with her encouragemment we released her energy to the universe February, 2007.  During this same period our younger dog Taz was diagnosed with bladder stones and had to undergo emergency surgery.  The vet explained to us a need to change to an alternate special food diet to prevent future bladder stones from reoccurring. 

Of interest to us during this same time was a nationwide dog food recall, so we began researching dry kibble of commercialized dog food. We were astonished at our findings!  Our quest to determine the most healthy, safe and biologically nutritious food for our dogs began.  We want to share our story about the benefits we see from our conversion to the BARF DIET™
